As the title and binding suggest, this work and exhibition focus on brick, an inexpensive and versatile material with a history spanning more than 5,000 years.Sol LeWitt,Peter Fischli and David Weiss,Marcel Duchamp,Michael Borremans,Joseph Beuys, Carl Andre, Francis Alÿs, and others.It features a number of unique brick-related works by over 50 artists, architects, and designers from the Netherlands and abroad. Not only the content, but also the brick-like binding makes it fun to look at.
