Two Connected Houses by Mark Manders

Roma Publications

An artist book by Dutch artist Mark Manders.

Conceived as a plan for an exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, this booklet outlines a fictional exhibition set across two houses connected by a tunnel running from one kitchen to the other. The publication was exhibited as part of Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum in New York from February 12 to April 28, 2010, and was also incorporated into a 48-page fictional newspaper project titled Traducing Ruddle, which Manders distributed free of charge in newspaper boxes throughout Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside in February and March of the same year.

This is Roma Publications’ 134th publication, designed by graphic designer Hans Gremmen, the director of Fw: Books.
