The Gould Collection Volume 4 by Jamie Hawkesworth & Joan Didion

This is the second in a series of works that have been produced since 2016 in memory of French photobook collector Chistophe Crison, who passed away in 2015.

This book combines photographs and drawings by British photographer Jamie Hawkesworth with an essay by American novelist and documentary writer Joan Didion, entitled Taking Notes. It is composed by combining "About". Through Didion's words and Hawksworth's imagery, this book focuses on how artists glean fragmentary thoughts and observations from everyday life in the creative process.

This volume uses a codex binding, so it opens well, and the cover design of the obi style has been changed to a real obi. Translated by Minami Aoyama.
