The Gould Collection Volume 4 by Jamie Hawkesworth & Joan Didion

This is the second in a series of books that has been produced since 2016 in memory of French photo book collector Christophe Crison, who passed away in 2015.

The book combines photographs and drawings by British photographer Jamie Hawkesworth with an essay by American novelist and documentarian Joan Didion, "On Notetaking." Through Didion's words and Hawkesworth's images, the book looks at how writers pick up the fragments of everyday thoughts and observations that inform their creative process.

This volume is bound in a codex, so it opens easily, and the obi-like cover design has been changed to a real obi. Translated by Minami Aoyama.
