Oh, Ciii by Yukito
A collection of works by Japanese photographer Kono Yukito.
This book mainly contains photographs taken at Tojinbo in Fukui Prefecture from 2018 to 2023. In this work, the author considers how images of things are formed while including chance and ambiguity, and how they have influenced the principles of human behavior. The "fluctuation" of things due to the intervention of others and chance was one of the main themes in Kono's exploration. In this work, he attempts to express the figure of Tojinbo, which continues to fluctuate as an abstract image, by having readers connect their own fragmented images as they read.
Limited to 200 numbered copies, includes a signed print by the artist.
