Set of Postcards From The Exhibition “The Act of Seeing (Urban Space). Taking a Distance”
Fondation pour l'Architecture à Bruxelles
A postcard leporello published on the occasion of the group exhibition “The Act of Seeing (Urban Space): Taking a Distance.”
Postcard Leporello from the Exhibition “The Act of Seeing (Urban Space): Taking a Distance” was produced for the group exhibition held at the Fondation pour l'Architecture in Brussels in 1995. Composed of eleven postcards joined in leporello form, the set condenses the atmosphere of the exhibition into a compact yet distinctive object. Its accordion structure gives it a playful sculptural quality, while each individual card can also be detached and enjoyed on its own.
It is a particularly appealing item both as a collectible exhibition multiple and as a set of images that can be framed individually. The publication brings together works by eleven artists who each approached urban space through a different visual language.
Included artists
Gosbert Adler / Marianna Müller / Joachim Brohm / Manolo Laguillo / Erica Overmeer / Jean Louis Garnell / Eugène Atget / Eadweard Muybridge / Aglaia Konrad / Nobuyoshi Araki / Kasimir - Migayrou
