(All Issue Set) Photography Equipment #1-12
A complete set of the photography magazine "Shashin Soudou" published between 1980 and 1986 by photographer and photography critic Oshima Hiroshi.
Since its first issue, "Photographic Equipment" has invited critics, commentators, and photographers from various fields to each issue to discuss the special feature theme through the lens of photography. The cross-disciplinary texts are valuable records that reflect the times, but can still be read as relevant today. Also, although the magazine devotes very little space to introducing works, it is noteworthy that it has introduced important works such as Takuma Nakahira's "The Origin of Photography 1981," Seiichi Furuya's "AMS," and Yutaka Takanashi's "Tokyo People 1978-1982."
The timeline that is produced in each issue is also very practical. If you are interested in thinking about photography and photography theory, this is a magazine you will want to have all the volumes on hand.
