New Landscapes (Untitled 24) by The Friends of Photography
A monograph by Friends of Photography, a non-profit organization founded by photographer Ansel Adams and others.
In 1967, Adams invited friends and fellow photographers to his home in Carmel, California, to talk about his plans to start a new organization to promote photography as a fine art. Between its founding that year and its dissolution in 2001, Adams organized at least 330 exhibitions of his photography in galleries in Carmel and San Francisco, and published an ongoing series of monographs titled Untitled.
This book, the 24th issue, features beautifully printed landscape photographs by a variety of artists.
