This is a collection of works produced as the 2011 catalogue for the Fernand Baudin Prize, an award held in Brussels and the Walloon region to select the most beautiful book of the year.
The Fernand Baudoin Prize is an award that encourages the production of contemporary books in Belgium, and through a competition it gives special recognition to books that demonstrate outstanding quality in both concept (editing and illustrations) and production (printing and binding). In 2011, the Swiss graphic designer and president of the publishing company Rollo Press, Urs Lehni, served as the chairman of the judging committee, and the winner was Aglaia Conrad's collection of works, "Carrara' won the award.
