Cap Juluca by Jeano Edwards

A photobook by Jamaican photographer Jeano Edwards.

Invited by the luxury hotel group Belmond, Edwards created this body of work in response to Cap Juluca, a stunning hotel located on the Caribbean island of Anguilla.

Stepping away from conventional approaches to travel photography, Edwards focuses not on documenting the place itself, but on its details and abstract qualities. Through this, he offers a new and unexpected perspective on the island. The absence of human figures brings a sense of quiet and mystery to the images―moments that feel touched by time, like faded memories imbued with grace.

The book also features a poetic text by writer Ryan Hart, whose words add a contemporary layer to the project’s overall atmosphere.
