(Akio Nagasawa Edition) Record by Moriyama Daimichi
A collection of works by Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama.
In 1972, Daido Moriyama was so busy with photography that he wanted to force himself to create his own work. He searched for a minimal medium, one in which he could "immediately print photos he had taken in his daily life and hand them over to people nearby to show them," and started self-publishing a collection of his work in a zine-like format. The oil crisis caused printing costs to skyrocket, so production was halted after the fifth issue, but Akio Nagasawa became the publisher and the series resumed in 2006. As of 2023, 54 issues have been produced.
This book is a collection of works published as a digest version of issues 1 to 30 of "Kiroku." It has been reproduced in the same size as the original and includes an afterword by Moriyama.
Limited to 2000 copies, signed by the author.
