Acolyte Frena by Mark Manders

An artist book by Dutch artist Mark Manders.

For his third solo exhibition in the Netherlands, Manders created a special setting in De Vrieschal in Middelburg, referencing his well-known series Self-Portrait as a Building, which he began there in 1986. This small publication documents the entire exhibition through black-and-white photographs of installation views, the creative process, and related works, materials, and objects.

Manders and Roger Willems, who co-founded Roma Publications, took the photographs for this publication.
