Acoco by Simon Haenni

A collection of works by French photographer Simon Heni.

The book is made up of 138 photographs, divided into 15 chapters of various lengths and rhythms. The photographs are all simply formatted in the same way, and although the format is archival in form, the contents are not arranged according to themes or clearly defined categories. The aesthetic and sense of distance of the works are closer to documentary and architectural photography. However, without any specific geographical or temporal reference, the book is poetic and open to various interpretations.
