“Last year, I feel very fortunate to have been able to be there with my best friend Amanda from the moment she gave birth to a girl named Ruby. My sisters told me a lot of birth stories, and Amanda and I knew each other well from 15 years of seeing each other and doing everything together, so I knew what I would go through. I was imagining and working out ideas, but I really had no clue what it was: emotions, pain (not my own pain, but it was difficult to feel directly), many twists and turns. The twists and turns...everything was far beyond my imagination.There's something about it, but I just waited for that moment without doing anything.And...nice to meet you Ruby.Welcome to this world!You! I'm so happy to be there when it was born, the 11th in a self-published series I've been working on since 2008, and I spent most of my time editing it.
