Everything is a museum

Self Published

This booklet was published in conjunction with the "Everything is a museum" project, which was held in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture from June 8th to 21st, 2024.

"Everything is a museum" was conceived by curator Yu Takagi as an attempt to reexamine the meaning of museums and art in times of emergency following the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on New Year's Day 2024. During the event, various exhibitions will be held simultaneously at 11 spaces in Kanazawa City. This booklet was created as a guide to grasp the overall picture of the project while touring the exhibition venues, and includes interviews with each space as well as a series of photos taken by photographer Yukito Kono, who performed a walking tour of all the venues. After the event ends, it can be read not only as a record of the event, but also as a guidebook to learn about Kanazawa's unique spaces.
