An artist book by American artist David Horvitz.

Other People is a series of digital photographs collected by Horvitz through facial recognition software. By using an image of his own face as the search input, the software returned images of other individuals mistakenly identified as him―so-called “false positives.” The ambiguous nature of image databases, which collect and commercialise photographs without the subject's awareness or consent, raises ethical questions with these images.

The project also draws inspiration from Horvitz’s research into training materials once used by East German border guards at Checkpoint Charlie (archived at the Wende Museum), forming an inquiry into the relationship between technology and identity in the age of AI.
