Julian Sarmento (born 1948, died 2021), who studied as an architect and had a long career as an artist, was a photographer for over 40 years. From an early age, Sarmento developed his own style, using the medium of photography technically and lyrically. His photographs offer a glimpse into his diverse interests: people, places, gatherings, travel, animals in the zoo or in the wild, cars, and experiments with light. This book, which explores the archives of photographs taken between 1964 and 2017, is like a road trip book of the journey of life.
