Martin ParrThis book was published in conjunction with the exhibition at the Brighton Photo Biennale in 2010, which Kawauchi curated. During the winter months, tens of thousands of migratory birds gather at Brighton Harbor at dusk, circling and creating a cloud of mist called "Murmuration." Attracted by this sight, Kawauchi took the theme of flocks and photographed the various flocks migrating through Brighton.
