Tapes by Giasco Bertoli

A collection of works by French photographer Jasco Bertoli.

This book is a series of still life photographs taken between 2018 and 2019, an ode to the late 1980s and the magic of audio cassettes. Jusco Bertoli rediscovered and recreated the cassettes he had dubbed as a teenager. Printed in black and white lithographs at a scale 2.5 times the original size, the book contains the silent soundtrack of a bygone era.

A simple yet profound collection of works that focuses on the correlation between photography and nostalgia, and image and sound.
