Not in Fashion by Mark Borthwick

A collection of works by British photographer and artist Mark Borthwick.

Known for his early fashion photography for Maison Martin Margiela and Purple Magazine, Borthwick is one of the photographers who changed the tide of fashion photography in the 1990s as a game changer. His influence is immeasurable, and even now, more than 30 years later, he continues to have a significant impact on subsequent generations. This book contains over 200 images from Borthwick's representative editorial works, portraits, and other commercial work, as well as excerpts from his personal journals, including Polaroid photos, sketches, and diary entries made up of notes from the shoots. Unusually for a publisher that mainly produces catalogs for major artists, this book is edited like an artist's book, fully conveying Borthwick's unconventional charm and trajectory.
