Friends of Photography

Monograph of Friends of Photography, a non-profit organization founded by photographer Ansel Adams.

In 1967, Adams invited his friends and fellow photographers to his home in Carmel, California, with the intention of starting a new organization to establish photography as art. said to have spoken Between its founding that year and its dissolution in 2001, the group had held at least 330 photographic exhibitions in galleries in Carmel and San Francisco, and continued to publish a monograph titled Untitled.

This book is the 24th issue, and contains beautifully printed landscape photographs by various artists.
