Against the backdrop of modern warfare, drones are increasingly used as tools and machines of control, surveillance and repression, becoming more and more technologically sophisticated. Through a selection of images from different channels active in most of the contemporary conflicts (Syria, Libya, Mali, Central African Republic, Ukraine), this book questions the way war is represented. Journalistic images are often framed and lose their relevance, even if they are not suppressed by the belligerents. This book is a collection of archival footage with minimal intervention by the author. The question here is not one of creation, but of how to represent reality.
