Arbeit by Laura Bielau

A collection of works by German artist Laura Bielau.

"Arbeit (Work)" was created with the theme of "studio", the space where Birou actually works as a photographer/artist. Composed of fragmented and enigmatic black-and-white photographs of things she found in her studio and of her own body movements, the studio is the place of the “process” of creation, and the body of the artist who creates the work. Finally, the customary composition of the work we see is turned inside out, and a somewhat strange and new relationship between the production process and the work is presented.
