A collection of works by Oslo-based artist Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson.

"Portraits by Waiters" features Johansson posing for the camera in a variety of settings and rooms. In reading these photographs, which he gave to waiters in restaurants to take pictures, one quickly notices that he appears bored, lonely, and somewhat enthusiastic at the same time, even as the viewer follows his personal daily life. To explore photography as a document and the contemporary uses and status of the medium, Johansson created his own visual diary.
