Arbeit by Laura Bielau

A collection of works by German artist Laura Bielau.

"Arbeit (Work)" was created around the theme of the "studio," the space where Bielow actually works as a photographer and artist. It is composed of fragmented and enigmatic monochrome photographs of things she found in the studio and her own bodily movements, and it turns the conventional composition of the studio as the place of the "process" of production, the body of the artist creating the work, and finally the work that we see inside out, presenting a somewhat strange and new relationship between the production process and the work.
