Radici by Fabrizio Albertini

A collection of works by Italian photographer and filmmaker Fabrizio Albertini.

The photographs in this book, which means "Roots" in Italian, were taken between 2015 and 2017 in and around the neighborhood of Albertini's home, which he is so familiar with that he calls it his garden. In addition to his own photographs, the latter half of the book also includes archival photographs owned by an art museum in the Cannobina Valley in Piedmont, along the Swiss border, where Albertini's mother was born and raised. This is an autobiographical photographic work woven together with personal subjects and elaborate, sometimes mysterious photographs.
