Let Me Fall Again by Julia Borissova
"Let Me Fall Again reflects the concept of falling through the life story of Charles Leroux, one of the first American balloonists who died at the age of 32 after a freak accident during a parachute jump in Tallinn. My intention was to create an imaginary journey within the trajectory of his performance. The book is born from the intersection of the balloonist's real story and my thoughts on the concept of falling. The book is woven with several pages and inserts that use the same technique as origami. Through origami, the paper is folded one piece at a time and changes its shape one after the other. It is a great challenge to transform a piece of paper into a new shape. Precision is also the key when folding a real parachute to avoid the risk of the parachute failing during the fall. The number of copies of the book is 239, based on the number of jumps Leroux performed." - Julia Borissova
