(Signed) Choreography with Potatoes and Flour by Line Bøhmer Løkken
A collection of works by Norwegian photographer Line Bøhmer Løkken.
This book was produced in conjunction with the exhibition Å begripe, held at the Oppland Kunstsenter in Norway from April 10th to May 16th, 2021. The exhibition piece "Mjukbrød – Hardbrød" (soft bread - hard bread), which is the basis of this book, consists of photographs taken by Lokken's father, a baker, in the process of making lefse* and flatbreads. The way bread dough is kneaded and stretched while changing shape one after another is cleverly expressed visually by bundling photographs printed on paper of various sizes. The texture of the paper, which looks like it's covered in flour, is also tactile and enjoyable.
