This is the sixth issue of the photography magazine "Shashin Soudousi," published between 1980 and 1986 by photographer and photography critic Oshima Hiroshi.

This issue features "The Origin of Photography in the 1800s." The stimulating texts by distinguished commentators are still very interesting to read even today, and the timeline is very practical. The opening photogravure features Yutaka Takanashi's "Tokyo People 1978-1982."
