Saturated Light by Wolfgang Tillmans
A collection of works by German photographer Wolfgang Tillmans.
Tillmans has created a new world of abstract photography through his masterpiece "Silver," which he has been working on for nearly 30 years. Instead of using a camera to shoot, this series was created by directly exposing photographic paper using light and photosensitive emulsion in a darkroom. greatly expanded the possibilities. Tillmans describes these works as "dirty, impure, bright, unsettled, worn, elusive, blurry, glittering, like solid colors." In addition to the image of the work, the installation at "K21" in Düsseldorf, Germany in 2013, "Tate Britain" in London (2003), Venice Biennale (2009), and "WIELS" in Brussels (2020). Many images of the "Silver" series placed in the space of the exhibition, such as the installation scenery of "Silver" alone, are also included.
