Exhibition catalog published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name held at The Photographers' Gallery in London from October 24th to November 24th, 2002.
Curated by singer-songwriter/curator Kate Bush and photographers gallery director Brett Rogers, the exhibition is presented by the British Council ( British Council) and the Photographers' Gallery were the first to jointly curate an exhibition. 16 British artists who share "the belief in the camera's ability to transform real experience into a poetic realm, either through real-life reproduction or visual reproduction, or through close observation and obsessive recording." Through his works, this exhibition explores the current state of photography and video expression in England after the 1990s, which was called "Cool Britannia".
From 2002 to 2003, the exhibition traveled to Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Latvia.
