A wordless photobook exploring the refrigerator as a cultural object through nearly one thousand photographs taken around the world.

PLASTIC PRODUCT ZINE: 02 FRIDGE is the second instalment of an ongoing publishing project by the Korean fashion label and collective PLASTIC PRODUCT. Each issue selects a single subject that shares an affinity with plastic and presents it entirely through approximately 1,000 photographs, without the use of any text.

This volume focuses on refrigerators photographed across the world. Rather than captions, each image is accompanied only by the time at which it was taken. In doing so, the book presents the refrigerator not only as an object of everyday observation but also as a point of departure for reflecting on the relationship between food and time, while evoking viewers’ own memories associated with the refrigerator.
