This book was created as a story about self and others, with the theme of "love, loss and Thanatos". Can we truly understand others and ourselves? It is composed of a portrait of a young man named Etan taken in a remote jungle village in the Republic of Suriname, interwoven with self-portraits inspired by the ancient myth of Narcissus and the paintings of Pliny the Elder.
