水平線採集 by Hiroshi Yamazaki
A collection of works by Japanese photographer Hiroshi Yamazaki.
Born in 1946, Hiroshi Yamazaki is one of Japan's leading conceptual photographers, known for his "Heliography" series, in which he records the trajectory of the sun through long exposures. This work is a collection of works created since 1974 that record a series of recordings of the horizon, and includes a text by Seigo Matsuoka in the preface. As Matsuoka understood, “Rather than letting the concept serve the photography, let the concept serve the photography.” Since then, it has been highly acclaimed as an important work that explores the possibility of creating conceptual works and puts them into practice.
