(Signed) Untitled by Yukihito Kono
A self-published collection of works by Japanese photographer Kono Yukito.
This book contains photographs taken at a warehouse party (a club event held in a huge warehouse) held in Amsterdam. Moving away from the premise of the camera and the act of taking photographs as an extension of the human body, Kono took photographs in the pitch black venue without looking through the viewfinder, using a powerful flash and the maximum optical zoom of his digital camera. Several years had passed since the photographs were taken, and Kono had not looked back on them, when he discovered these images in his archives. These photographs, which had been left as data as the "visual memory = record of the camera" different from Kono's visual experience and memory, appeared before Kono as a scene he had never seen before. In this book, he attempts to generate new images again by binding the images in different ways.
Limited to 100 copies. Signed by the author. Bound in sets of 5 with the pages rearranged.
