Artist Talk: Rie SUZUKI - "It was dark that night and we made it through the woods by touch"

From November 6th, Rie Suzuki's solo exhibition "It was dark that night and we made it through the woods by touch" is being held at the curated space "NN" in Kanazawa. Along with the exhibition, a collection of works , , which combines the most substantial volume and ambitious expressive techniques among the collections of works that Suzuki has produced to date, has been published.
In this event, which was the first time in two years since the last time he appeared on stage, he moved between the two venues "NN" and "IACK" in order, and although the work/title was the same, it was presented in two different forms: an exhibition and a book. Yukihito Kono, who was in charge of editing the collection of works produced this time, will talk about the new works that are expressed.
After the talk at IACK, in addition to the new book, Mr. Suzuki's previous zines will also be on sale, so please take this opportunity to visit us.

Rie SUZUKI
Photographer. In 2010, completed the photography course at Musashino Art University Graduate School of Design. She is currently based in Tokyo. While taking pictures on a daily basis, she creates photographic works inspired by fantasy and sci-fi movies, and publishes them as exhibition works and photo books. She also works as a hand print lab "Big Sombrero" for film photography.
