At 5:30 a.m. on July 16, 1945, the first atomic bomb test in human history was conducted in Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA. Julius Robert Oppenheimer, known as the father of the atomic bomb and leader of the Manhattan Project, a joint atomic bomb development and manufacturing program by the United States, Great Britain, and Canada, said that we had become different beings before and after the development of this weapon, which could easily annihilate humanity, and that he bitterly regretted its development throughout his life.
MortalottiSo Hamzehian traveled to Alamogordo, where it all began, to investigate the real-world impact of the development and testing of the atomic bomb.
