The book includes an essay on Aretz by Dutch architectural historian Bart Lootsma, a text on Aglaia Konrad by Swiss editor Moritz Kung, and photographs of Aretz's work taken by Konrad. Conrad's photographs, which make up about half of the book, are not typical architectural photographs, but rather powerful black-and-white images that are an extension of Konrad's work. The result is a very unique catalog in which the work of Aretz's architecture and the work of Konrad's photography collide head-on. Konrad also designed part of the book.
