(Summer Sale) The Animals by Giacomo Brunelli (Signed)
A publication by Giacomo Brunelli, an Italian photographer living in London.
A collection of works by Giacomo Brunelli, an Italian photographer living in London.
The book features photographs of animals taken between 2005 and 2010. As Alison Nordstrom (Curator of Photography, George Eastman House, Rochester, New York) explains, he is not interested in exotic animals housed in window sills or cages at the zoo, but in the ordinary animals that, to some extent, coexist with us: horses, dogs, cats, chickens, pigeons, etc.
Brunelli photographs small, ephemeral wild creatures inhabiting farms, cobblestone streets, and stone facades, capturing them living in familiar, liminal spaces where the artificial and the natural meet and overlap. Second edition, signed by the author.
