In line with the vision of Chiara Parisi, who was the museum's director at the time, Docs wanted to transform the museum into a place of artistic creation and production, rather than a transit point for artworks. Docs transformed the entire building, designed by Italian architect Aldo Rossi, into a laboratory composed of sounds, projections and images from Rossi's personal archives and those around him. The project, entitled "Day by Day," involved the participation of Aglaia Konrad, who works on urban and architectural themes, artist Mark Luyten and the artist collective "Building Transmissions collective.
