Elasticity by Aglaia Konrad

One of Conrad's early masterpieces published in 2002, "Elasticity".

This book mainly contains works shot in big cities such as Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Cairo, Paris, and Mexico City in the 90s. In this work, Conrad reveals the structure, façade, infrastructure, architectural forms, and surface features of the city, using photographic reversals, enlargements, collages, and copies. Dutch design duo Mevis & Van Dursen (Mevis & Van Deursen) and have been brought down into a single collection of works.

The latter half of the book contains a wealth of photographs of exhibition scenery, and is of great value as a material.
