(Special Edition with Print B) Venice by Giacomo Brunelli
A collection of works by Giacomo Brunelli, an Italian photographer living in London.
Shortly after the exceptional "acqua alta"* that occurred in November 2019, Brunelli, who has always been fascinated by the uniqueness of its landscapes and the fragility of its cities, embarked on a new project about Venice. From January 2020, for two and a half years, Brunelli spent several months in the city to complete the project, photographing the city built on bridges, canals and more than 100 islands full of water. As in his previous work, he used a Miranda camera from the 60s and black and white film as a means to express the emotions he wanted to convey.
This book is the first collection of works from his newly launched label, TantoPress.
This is a limited edition of 25 copies, and comes in a leather slipcase with a hand-printed print by the artist.
Print type: Gelatin silver print (there may be some warping due to its nature, but this will not affect framing or viewing)

*The term means high tide in Italian, but is now used to refer to the abnormal tidal phenomenon in which water reaches the interior of a city.
