A collection of works by Oslo-based artist Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson.

"Portraits by Waiters" contains photographs of Johansson posing for the camera in various scenes and rooms. Reading these photographs, which were taken by a waiter at a restaurant, while following his personal daily life, I immediately felt that he was bored, lonely, and somehow enthusiastic at the same time. You will notice that it looks like Johansson created his own visual diary to explore his photography as a document and its contemporary uses and status quo.
