From April 20th, we will be exhibiting at the event "1 BOOKs", which will be held at "Laboratory ∆II", a space attached to "CANDLE CAFE ∆II" in Shimokitazawa.
"1 BOOKs" is a limited-time bookstore that stocks books selected by designated bookstore selectors, each with one book selected under the criterion "This is the one book I recommend right now."
This time, IACK has also been given the opportunity to select a collection of works.
When I participated in 2019, I selected a collection of works by Michele Tagliaferri, but this time I chose a book with a different atmosphere.
Perhaps because society is in a state of great upheaval, many bookstores are selecting books on the same theme. However, because each selector has a different style, you can enjoy the output (selection) of each of the three different books on the same theme.
At the venue, there will be an exhibition by photographer Yoko Kusano, and a corner for sale books in addition to the 1 BOOKs project. Please come and visit us. (IACK will only be participating in the 1 BOOKs project.)
