Descabezados by Jonathan Hernandez
A collection of works by Mexican conceptual artist Jonathan Hernandez.
This book contains works created by cutting out newspapers published in Mexico in 2014. By composing newspaper headlines and photographs, which are sometimes exaggerated due to their impact and biased reporting, out of their original context, Hernandez recreates the mechanism of news generation with humor.
Also, for readers who cannot read Spanish, this is a collection of works that bring to the fore the symbolic interest of typography as a form of character expression.
