Teknisk Industri AS

A collection of works by Oslo-based artist Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson.

This book is a collection of works published in 2011 by Rotom Contemporary, an art gallery in Oslo, and includes a number of readymade pieces using furniture, as well as exhibition views. The furniture has been rearranged, cut/disassembled, or arranged in an exquisite balance. Having lost their original function and become objects, the furniture sometimes seems sad, and sometimes seems lively in their new roles. Johansson has published many artist books under the name "Multinational Enterprises," and is known as an artist who uses photographs and text, but this book, one of his early publications, allows us to once again feel the themes he continues to pursue to this day and the charm of an artist who always keeps a sense of humor.

Limited to 600 copies. Signed by the artist.
