Sunday Afternoon*One year of Keijiban editions |
IACK will be holding an exhibition to commemorate the first anniversary of Keijiban, an art project that involves holding exhibitions and producing accompanying original works on a bulletin board that IACK has installed itself in Takaoka-cho, Kanazawa City.
Keijiban is the co-founder of the Belgian Art Platform (SIC),Olivier Mignon, editor-in-chief of A/R magazineHowever, currently based inIn Kanazawa CityStarting in 2021It is an art project that was started in 2011. It has a unique concept of presenting works by international artists on a bulletin board, which is normally a place to disseminate local information. Every month, it plans exhibitions and produces original works, and has collaborated with many important artists, from established names to young artists, such as Jacqueline Messmacker, Batia Suter, Ryan Gander, and Lawrence Weiner. During the event, only those who visit the bulletin board can view and purchase the works, and only after the event has ended are the exhibition views and the purchase page for the works posted online; the concept is thoroughly implemented down to the smallest detail.
This exhibition, titled "Sunday afternoon * One year of Keijiban editions," will be held at IACK, located in the same town and which also held an exhibition by Aglaia Conrad last year, and will display and sell original edition works by 12 artists that "keijiban" has created over the past year.
Olivier Mignon, founder of "keijiban", will be present during the exhibition to guide visitors. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the unique worldview of the project and the works of important artists all in one place, so please come and visit.
