This is the second collection of works by British photographer Nigel Shafran.

This book is a collection of photographs taken during weekly visits to his father's office between December 1996 and November 1998. The softly lit, empty office evokes the random moments of his father's time there, rather than an impression of emptiness or loneliness. Shafran's attention to sequence, which he places the utmost importance on when creating works in the book format, is apparent in his use of blank pages and editing methods. The designs around the text are also interesting, overflowing with the originality that can only be achieved through self-publishing.
