Twombly, who appeared in the 1950s, pursued his own activities while keeping a distance from the abstract expressionism that emerged in America in the late 40s. This book is a catalog published in conjunction with the solo exhibition held in Belgium in 2012, and mainly contains photographs taken by the artist during his lifetime.
