Cy Twoly Things by Kate Nesin
A collection of works by American artist Cy Twombly.
This book, written by American art historian Kate Nesin, focuses on Twombly's sculptures. Twombly is one of the most influential artists of the post-World War II era, but is relatively unknown for his sculptures. Since 1964, he has produced numerous works using found objects, some of which are finished with a whitewash using a variety of techniques. Although Twombly's work has shifted rapidly within the sculptural genre over his lifetime, he has produced a work that has remained remarkably consistent over the decades.
