Skinnerboox

A collection of works by Italian photographer Piero Percoco.

Pierkoko learned photography by himself with an iPhone 6s camera in hand, and his one-of-a-kind view of the world attracted a lot of attention on Instagram. After the success of their previous book, Prism Interiors, which was guest-edited by photographer Jason Fulford, Pierkoko and publisher Skinnerboox are working on a new, more in-depth imagery. is. This book contains photographs taken over the past five years in Puglia, southern Italy, centered around Sannicandro di Bari, where the author lives. Pierkoko calls this work, the result of a long process of trial and error, a "visual training novel." By arranging the photographs, one on each page, in sequence as a large stream of relevance, visual and semantic reference, rather than the classical method of combining two photographs placed in a double-page spread. , an attempt was made to construct a sequence that reflected the artist's daily routine and attitude toward photography.
